Nearly every device we work on arrives as a parcel. They travel to the secure intake lab in Guildford tracked and insured, so the practical boundary is the courier network rather than a county line. Berkshire is where we are, not where we stop.

What that looks like in practice.

There is no shop frontWhether it arrives by post or by hand, the device is logged at the intake lab the day it turns up and goes straight to the bench. Nothing waits on a shelf.
Distance changes nothingA parcel posted from High Wycombe is handled exactly as one dropped in from a street off the Bath Road: free diagnosis, one fixed price, a checked return.
Business kit, wherever it sitsA RAID 5 set, a NAS or evidence material leaves a Slough trading-estate unit or a Windsor office under the same tracked, insured cover. Say on the first call that it is urgent and the case is flagged before the parcel moves.
All of it in one buildingNothing is subcontracted and nothing is forwarded on. Diagnosis, imaging and recovery are all done at our own intake lab, and one case reference follows the device from the moment it is booked in until it goes back out.

The things people most want to know, answered.

Is my postcode covered?

If a tracked courier will deliver to you, then yes. Most work comes from Maidenhead, Windsor and the rest of east Berkshire, though boxes reach the lab from every part of the country, and we pay the return carriage.

Will the journey make things worse?

Not if it is packed properly. An external keeps its own case, a disk taken out of a machine travels bare, and either way it wants padding all round and a tracked, insured service. The shipping form sets out each step; most work arrives that way.

Do you offer collection?

No, there is no collection service. Tracked post is quicker than a van and leaves less to go wrong, and you are welcome to drop the device at the Guildford intake lab on a weekday. Servers, larger NAS units and sensitive evidence are worth a call first, so we can agree the route.

I am outside Berkshire; should I use a closer lab?

Distance decides very little. What matters is who does the work and whether they are straight with you; your parcel is opened and diagnosed the morning it arrives.
