Where we work · Beaconsfield

Beaconsfield data recovery. Two town centres, a mile apart. And a great many single copies in both.

Beaconsfield keeps two centres a mile apart: the Old Town crossroads with its four Ends, and the New Town that grew up around the station after 1906. Between them sits the National Film and Television School, on the old Beaconsfield Film Studios site, and a great deal of work done quietly at home: consultancies of one, family archives on one disk. Nothing needs driving anywhere. Post the drive tracked and the diagnosis costs nothing.

If you post it in: post it to our intake lab tracked and fully insured, and slip the shipping form in beside the drive; we pay the return leg. How to pack it is covered in detail on the postage page.

What happens between posting it and getting it back.

Client work stays confidentialSolicitors, surveyors and accountants send live client work in. A case number goes on at the door, nothing is opened beyond what the recovery needs, and the privacy policy is yours to file.
No shop here, none in MaidenheadDevices come to the intake lab through the post, and any HP9 counter will take one. Pack it rigid, let nothing shift inside the box, and lay the shipping form next to the drive. It is on the bench the following working morning.
The costs, put in writingThe first look costs nothing. What comes back is a single figure that does not move afterwards, you see a list of everything recovered before any money changes hands, and the VAT invoice follows.
Fixed dates, and a date from usFilm-school hand-ins, court dates and quarter ends move for nobody. Name yours on the phone, and as soon as the diagnosis is done you are given a date we hold to.

Four things Beaconsfield wants to know.

Can a Beaconsfield firm send us confidential client work?

Yes, and the handling is built for it. Your device is logged against a case reference rather than a name, engineers open only as much as the recovery requires, and every working copy is erased thirty days after the drive returns to you. The privacy policy sets out the detail.

What is the usual turnaround from Beaconsfield?

A parcel posted this afternoon normally reaches the bench next morning, with the written quote close behind. Once you approve it, a logical fault is commonly finished within two working days. Mechanical faults and multi-disk sets run longer, and we say so beforehand.

What paperwork comes back for our own records?

All of it as standard, never an extra: a fixed written quote, a VAT invoice, and an itemised recovery list you check and sign off before paying.

Is the post really safe for a confidential drive?

It is, provided it travels tracked, insured and well packed. Firms across Buckinghamshire post work to us most weeks. Ring us first if you would rather talk.

Post it from Beaconsfield; the rest is ours.

Nothing is decided until the free diagnosis is in: leave the device off, and tell us what happened to it.
