Furthermore, a workshop machine that has never been connected to a computer network is exactly the type of machine nobody keeps duplicate copies of. Write down what you consider to be the folders that would stop production if they were missing, and these will be located and documented prior to checking anything else.
The drive has spent the winter in an unheated unit. Does that change anything?
It affects what happens first, so it is important to mention it when you call. The temperature can drop extremely low in Chesham: for example, on 20 December 2010 a reading of minus 19.6°C was recorded.
