RAID 1 Failures and Data Recovery

IBM 3400X SERVER RAID 1:

I am running an IBM 3400X series server, which has a pair of drives in a RAID 1 array. The problem is that is seems that one of the RAID 1 drives has become disconnected from the array, and I am not able to repair it so that it rejoins the other. I have a lot of data on the drive, and apparently the situation was made worse by the lost drive being the ‘primary’, according to my IT tech. The server is used to hold a lot of information used by the business, and I need to extract the data as quickly as possible from it.

DELL POWEREDGE 1800 RAID 1:

I need some help with recovering information from a RAID 1 array which has 4 drives in it. The drives are supposed to be in a RAID 1 formation, so that drive 2 is the mirror of drive 1, and drive 3 is the mirror of drive 4. This is the way it is supposed to be, but I am not sure that the mirror is working as it should. After saving data to the drives for a while, I was alerted to problems in both drive 1 and drive 4, so I should have been able to save the data from drive 2 and drive 3. However, the server will not boot up, and there is no boot available. I tried to resolve that, by making drive 2 the main drive, and powering up, but the server is saying that the drives are not in the correct location, and drive roaming must be done by firmware. I need to be able to recover the data from the drives.
